1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using Yogya Jodi ("the Platform"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree to these Terms, you may not use the Platform. These Terms constitute a legally binding agreement between you and Yogya Jodi.

2. Eligibility

• You must be at least 18 years of age to create an account and use the Platform.
• The Platform is intended solely for genuine matrimonial purposes. You must be legally eligible to marry under applicable Indian law.
• By registering, you represent and warrant that all information you provide is accurate, current, and complete.
• Family members creating profiles on behalf of others must have the explicit consent of the person whose profile is being created.

3. Account Responsibilities

• You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activities that occur under your account.
• You must notify us immediately of any unauthorized use of your account.
• You may not transfer or share your account with another person.
• You are responsible for ensuring that all information in your profile is truthful and up to date.

4. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

• Create fake, misleading, or duplicate profiles.
• Harass, abuse, threaten, or intimidate other users.
• Use the Platform for any purpose other than genuine matrimonial matchmaking.
• Scrape, crawl, or use automated tools to extract data from the Platform.
• Use the Platform for commercial purposes, advertising, or solicitation.
• Upload content that is offensive, obscene, defamatory, or violates any law.
• Impersonate any person or entity, or misrepresent your identity or affiliation.
• Attempt to gain unauthorized access to other users' accounts or our systems.
• Share contact information of other users outside the Platform without their consent.

5. Profile Content

• You are solely responsible for the content you post on your profile, including photos, text, and other information.
• You must only upload photos of yourself. Photos of other individuals (without their explicit consent), celebrities, or copyrighted images are prohibited.
• We reserve the right to remove any content that violates these Terms or that we deem inappropriate, without prior notice.
• By posting content on the Platform, you grant us a non-exclusive, royalty-free license to display and distribute it for the purpose of providing our services.

6. AI Features Disclaimer

• Jodi AI, our AI-powered matchmaking feature, provides suggestions and compatibility insights based on profile information. These are suggestions only and should not be treated as professional advice or guarantees.
• Compatibility scores are informational and are generated using algorithms that analyze profile data. They do not predict relationship outcomes.
• Kundali matching and astrological compatibility features are provided for reference and cultural context. They should not be the sole basis for matrimonial decisions.
• AI-generated content may occasionally contain inaccuracies. You should verify all information independently.
• We are not responsible for any decisions you make based on AI-generated suggestions or compatibility analysis.

7. Family Mode Terms

• Family Mode allows authorized family members to participate in the matchmaking process on your behalf.
• The primary account holder retains full control over their profile and can enable, configure, or disable Family Mode at any time.
• Family members using the Platform must comply with all these Terms of Service.
• The primary account holder is responsible for the actions taken by family members who access their profile through Family Mode.
• Family members must not use the Platform for any purpose other than assisting with genuine matrimonial matchmaking.

8. Intellectual Property

All content, features, and functionality of the Platform, including but not limited to the design, text, graphics, logos, icons, images, and software, are owned by Yogya Jodi or its licensors and are protected by copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws. You may not reproduce, distribute, modify, or create derivative works from any part of the Platform without our prior written consent.

9. Payments and Subscriptions

• Currently, all features on Yogya Jodi are free during our launch period. No credit card or payment information is required.
• In the future, we may introduce premium features or subscription plans. Any paid features will be clearly communicated, and you will not be charged without your explicit consent.
• If paid plans are introduced, refund policies and billing terms will be provided at that time.

10. Privacy

Your use of the Platform is also governed by our Privacy Policy, which describes how we collect, use, and protect your personal information. Please review our Privacy Policy carefully.

11. Termination

• You may delete your account at any time through your account settings or by contacting us.
• We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your account at any time, with or without notice, for any violation of these Terms or for any other reason we deem necessary.
• Upon termination, your right to use the Platform ceases immediately. We may delete your data in accordance with our Privacy Policy.
• Provisions that by their nature should survive termination shall remain in effect, including intellectual property, limitation of liability, and indemnification.

12. Limitation of Liability

• The Platform is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, either express or implied.
• We do not guarantee the accuracy, completeness, or reliability of any profile information, AI-generated content, or compatibility scores.
• We are not liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the Platform.
• We are not responsible for the conduct of any user, whether online or offline. You interact with other users at your own risk.
• Our total liability for any claim arising from these Terms or your use of the Platform shall not exceed the amount you paid to us (if any) in the 12 months preceding the claim.

13. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless Yogya Jodi, its officers, directors, employees, and agents from any claims, damages, losses, liabilities, and expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising from your use of the Platform, your violation of these Terms, your violation of any rights of another person or entity, or any content you post on the Platform.

14. Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of India. Any disputes arising from or relating to these Terms or your use of the Platform shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts in Maharashtra, India.

15. Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. We will notify you of any material changes by posting the updated Terms on this page and updating the "Last updated" date. Your continued use of the Platform after any changes constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms. If you do not agree with the updated Terms, you must stop using the Platform and delete your account.
